To try and fly with broken wings,
Appears as plain stupidity,
But how are we to seek new heights,
Tied down by errors of our plights?
If blind ambition remains intact,
Must hope be scarpered by that simple fact?
And if our wings may be repaired,
Would we fly or be too scared?
The question falls on young minds shoulders,
As we look for guidance from our elders,
Which path, if taken, will lead us to fall?
And which one will leave us standing tall?
Oppressed, we gazed as choices surround us,
Eventually, indecision will drown us,
And yet we stand with broken wing,
And with loud voices begin to sing,
The youth is not wasted on those who try,
And with broken wings take the chance to fly.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
